2/5/10-Farmington--Northwest Catholic built a 10-point lead at the half and did not relinquish much of it in the second half to beat Farmington, 64-54.
Northwest Catholic coming off an impressive win over New Britain Tuesday, took care of business in Farmington to improve their record to 13-2. Northwest was led by freshman Kuran Iverson who scored 22 points and Julian Harris with 12 points.
Farmington was able to cut the lead to 7 points with 4 minutes to play but Northwest Catholic showed their quickness to keep the lead to double digits. Farmington's Nick Scarrozzo left it all on the court scoring 17 points. Ben Pollack scored 12 and Shamar Brooks netted an impressive 11 points. Greg Rosshirt scored 7. Farmington falls to 3-12 and hosts Newington Tuesday at 7pm. |
