1/6/10-Simsbury--South Windsor came out firing on all cylinders Wednesday night and shut out the Indians by a score of 2-0.
South Windsor got things going early in the first when Joe Bonazelli found a rebound off the pads of Kyle Chemente and found the back of the net. Tommy Pease got the assist. In the second, South Windsor captain Conor Stanley beat Chemente blocker side to give the Bobcats some insurance. David Ouellette and Bonazelli earned the assist. Farmington had it's chances but was unable to capitalize on the power play going 0-4 in the game.
Bobcat goalie Chris Marchi stopped all 20 shots to earn the win. Farmington's Chemente turned away 20 shots.
South Windsor improves to 2-3 and takes on Tri-Town 5pm Saturday night at South Windsor Arena. Farmington falls to 3-3-1 and travels to Trinity College Saturday to play Glastonbury for an 8pm start.
