Farmington Hockey Wins CCC East Title

Farmington Senior CJ Spellman looks to take back the Division II title.
3/6/10-Hartford--Brian Cohan and Kyle Chemente lead Farmington over East Catholic 6-4 to win the CCC-East Championship.

After an early East Catholic lead, Brian Cohan (2 goals, assist) tallied a short-handed goal to tie the score.  Goals by Farmington's Dominic Bazzano and Matt Cowles gave the Indians a 3-1 lead. 
East Catholic's Caleb Nelson made it 3-2 but moments later Jack Noble found the back of the net to give Farmington a 4-2 lead.

Farmington's Luke Thomson had a goal in the contest.  Earning assists on the day were Connor Burns, Andrew Lindquist and Nick Palen.  Kyle Chemente stopped 38 shots to earn the win.

Farmington (14th seed) continues their post-season hockey Tuesday with the Division II state tournament.  They travel to Wesleyan University in an attempt to knock off the defending Division II champion and 3rd seeded Cheshire Rams (15-5).
